SUR LE BOIS — “on the wood” — is a collection developed with Conceitos de Arte that treats timber as the primary stage for everyday life. Within this family, the Center Table embodies the idea of a quiet, horizontal landscape: a simple, elongated wooden plane around which people gather. It is conceived as a serene surface for composing scenes with books, trays, or flowers, as if creating a still life directly on the timber itself.

 

The design is a continuous wooden volume, with the legs growing seamlessly from the top, and softened, rounded edges that invite touch. The grain runs along its length to emphasize the horizontal gesture, while the subtly splayed legs create a light, dynamic profile that avoids sharp lines and superfluous detail.
