SUR LE BOIS — “on the wood” — is a collection developed with Conceitos de Arte that places timber at the center of the interior scene as the surface on which everyday life unfolds. The sideboard embodies this idea at a generous, horizontal scale, conceived as a long, grounded piece that combines storage, display, and serving functions along a single wooden line. It is a quiet anchor for the room, designed to celebrate the tactile beauty of raw materials.
The design features a richly textured wooden body with a façade of vertical slats, topped by a continuous plane of cool, calm stone. A slender open shelf spans the full length of the piece, creating a band of air that lightens the volume and highlights the dialogue between the rhythmic timber and the solid masonry above.
Designed for dining rooms, living spaces, and hospitality environments, the SUR LE BOIS Sideboard acts as a functional horizon along the wall. It provides a sophisticated platform for serving and displaying while concealing generous storage within its striated doors. Whether used as a standalone focal point or as part of a wider SUR LE BOIS landscape, it reinforces a sense of material honesty and quiet architectural orchestration.
