SUR LE BOIS — “on the wood” — is a collection developed with Conceitos de Arte that frames interior life around finely crafted wooden surfaces. The side table brings this idea to a smaller, more flexible scale: a movable platform that offers a calm plane for everyday objects. It is conceived as a tactile, intimate piece that introduces the warmth of timber and the cool presence of stone into the immediate reach of a sofa, armchair, or bed.
The design is defined by a geometric solid wood frame with mitered corners and softened edges, housing a stone top that rests lightly within the structure. A wooden shelf spans the lower section between four slender legs, creating a generous open niche that reinforces the horizontal axis and the dialogue between different natural textures.
Designed as a versatile support for living rooms, bedrooms, and hospitality lounges, the SUR LE BOIS Side Table adapts quietly to its surroundings. Whether acting as a compact nightstand or a companion to a lounge chair, its double surface provides ample room for books and lighting while maintaining a light, airy profile. Used alone or in pairs, it extends the collection’s language of material honesty and architectural calm to every corner of the room.
