MADELYN translates the idea of elevation into a welcoming seat designed for contemporary living. The name, often associated with strength and resilience, inspires a silhouette that stands slightly above the everyday, offering a clear view of the room. It is a chair that lifts both the body and the eye, changing the perspective on the ritual of dining.
The design is built around a floating backrest and a generous, rounded seat. The back curves in a soft arc, leaving a clear gap that allows light to pass through, giving the chair a sense of visual weightlessness. This “hovering” backrest supports the shoulders without enclosing them, while the broad, comfortably padded seat invites the sitter to slide in and adjust position easily during a meal.
Resting on splayed wooden legs that evoke a subtle mid-century spirit, MADELYN achieves an inviting informality paired with thoughtful design. Engineered for “high comfort,” it supports the natural rhythm of long dinners and working lunches with equal ease. From residential kitchens to refined restaurants, MADELYN establishes a sophisticated, unified language that transitions seamlessly between settings while always preserving its signature, elevated presence.
