SUR LE BOIS — “on the wood” — is a collection developed with Conceitos de Arte that treats timber as the primary surface on which interior life unfolds. This console translates the idea of a wooden landscape into a slim, elongated piece designed to mark passages and thresholds. It is conceived as a quiet, warm line of timber along the wall, ready to receive light, objects, and daily gestures.
The design is drawn as a long, open frame in solid wood, featuring a generous top and a floating second shelf for additional display. Its slender, subtly rounded legs and the continuous flow of the wood grain create a sense of lightness, making the piece appear as a single, carved element rather than an assembly of parts.
Designed for entrance halls, corridors, and living rooms, the SUR LE BOIS Console acts as a linear anchor that sets the tone of an interior. With its double surface and open structure, it functions as both a practical support and a discreet stage for artworks or personal items.
