ROULEAU revisits a classical vocabulary through a contemporary lens, translating the traditional cylindrical form into a clear architectural signature. Developed in collaboration with Conceitos de Arte, this piece is a study in geometry as comfort: a dialogue where precise lines meet sculptural volume to create a quietly luxurious expression.
The sofa is built around the balance between calm horizontals and rounded accents. Defining cylindrical arms frames the composition, turning a familiar gesture into a distinctive identity. Between these curved volumes, the seat and backrest run in a clean line, balancing softness with control. Subtle upholstery details—from seam placement to cushion proportion—introduce refinement without visual noise, ensuring the silhouette remains composed and symmetrical.
Designed for suites and social spaces, ROULEAU acts as a sculptural focal point that adapts to both classic and contemporary contexts. Placed centrally, it introduces a soft counterpoint to the surrounding architecture; against a wall, it provides a rhythmic and steady presence. It is a timeless take on luxury—expressive in silhouette, calm in presence, and meticulously considered for everyday use.
