The Essence of Turn
TURN takes its name from a simple, intuitive action: shifting, rotating, and turning a module to create a new configuration.
The collection explores how a basic wooden block can change character through geometric precision, using proportion rather than complex mechanisms to generate variation. It is conceived as a playful yet disciplined system that invites the user to participate in the room’s final composition. The design features a compact, almost square top, with each corner faceted into a volume that flows continuously into the legs.Â

The material honesty and interactive design
TURN functions as both a standalone side table and a collective centre table. Its modular nature allows it to expand, contract, or change shape to suit different seating arrangements or occasions.
This creates a single, monolithic body of solid wood, defined by sharp planes that catch the light and allow multiple units to sit flush or offset in a staggered, rhythmic pattern.
Rotating or sliding the modules introduces a quiet dynamism to the interior, bridging the gap between material honesty and interactive design.
