BREAK Armchair is a sanctuary for pausing. The design “breaks” the traditional armchair profile, opting for a precise, graphic articulation between a sharp timber back and a soft, block-like seat. This contrast creates a clear, uncluttered form that invites the body to reset and the eye to linger on its architectural silhouette.

design concept and inspiration

An embracing accent piece to reading corners or boutique hotel suites

The sculpted wooden back, with a single inclined veneer panel, provides a strong vertical presence that catches the light. This rigid plane is balanced by a deep, upholstered seat designed for relaxed, lounge-like postures. Slender legs extend upwards to frame the upholstery, tying the composition together through a sophisticated interplay of volume and line.

Ideal as an accent piece, BREAK fits perfectly into reading corners or boutique hotel suites. Its compact footprint and linear note allow it to stand alone with confidence or act as a sharper counterpoint to softer, more enveloping furniture. It is a dedicated space for a brief pause before re-entering the room’s rhythm.
