BESS takes its name from a history of strength and stability, translating the poise of a decisive figure into a small yet assertive object. It is conceived as a pure brass presence – a single vertical line linking two luminous discs – designed to bring a quiet authority and a touch of abundance to the room’s composition. Like its namesake, the piece does not need scale to command attention; it relies instead on its clear, strategic geometry.
The design comprises a circular base, a slender vertical column, and a slightly oversized top, all in brushed brass. This interplay of two discs and one line creates a graphic clarity, where the satin finish softens reflections to produce a warm, constant glow without superfluous detail.
Designed as a flexible accent piece, the BESS Side Table moves easily between living rooms, lounges, and bedrooms.
